I have some good news for New York friends and visitors of the city! You can get a copy
of Question Marks/Cats I Know zine 2 at Printed Matter and St. Marks Bookshop and
Cat Dream/Cats I Know zine 1 at Desert Island in Brooklyn (near Lorimer St [L] &
Metropolitan Ave [G] stops.) Having lived in New York City for three years, it's exciting
to see my zines on the shelves of some of my favorite book stores.

And this is for everyone! Cats I Know zine 1 is now available at Little Paper Planes.
I love the collection of artists' works they have and am very proud to be a part of it.

Salford Museum & Art Gallery (UK) starting this weekend, October 15th until January

Episode #8 of The Amerikans "Big G" will be premiering at Akron Art Museum.
I made a new animation work for the end title of the film and really enjoyed the production!
The screening is free and open to the public. Door open at 6:30PM.

I've been watching a lot of French films this summer.
My francophileness is somehow came back for the first time in a decade.
I said "French films" but particularly "Louis Garrel" films.
Thanks for Netflix to carry a lot of eye candies (for me, at least).
Garrel's acting? Oh, yes, it's great.

Summer is just fun.

I don't really have news since lots works are still in progress.

Making small animation for The Amerikans' next episode,

new items for my Etsy store which will be available this month,

went family camping trip,

and started a garden for the first time in my life.

I stare at our plants every morning.

Oh and deleted my Twitter account which had about 4 weeks of life...

It was kind of a while ago. I just got bored of it.

No Twitter, no Facebook, no Myspace,

but I'm on Etsy, Flickr, Tumblr, SoundCloud and CATS I KNOW.

Some of my friends told me there is a person who has exactly same name as me on Facebook,

again, I do not have Facebook and she is not this cat freak for sure.

I will have better news updates in next week.

I'm very happy to announce the release of a short documentary called "I Am a Cat." This is a story about me and the cats that I know. Recommended for all the cat lovers (of course!) "I Am a Cat" is episode #3 of The Amerikans, a new web series featuring three- to five-minute intimate portraits of the diverse community surrounding the Ohio-based production of the in-development feature film AMERIKA: a notebook in three parts.

I was listening to a local radio station this morning and heard a cover version of "Devil Town," by Daniel Johnston. My hands stopped washing breakfast dishes and I turned off the radio and began to play "1990," the album by Daniel Johnston that includes "Devil Town." I sang along with Daniel for half an hour while taking a shower and forgot to wash the rest of the dishes. I really wish my friend's Karaoke machine had this song so I could sing it at their Thanksgiving day party. It would be the first time I could sing something besides "Do-Re-Mi."
